Your advisors step into their client’s space through social media, email correspondence and a well-designed website. Here are three things advisors can do to jump-start their inbound marketing effort:

Connect on social media through vibrant social pages

    • Facebook

Become an address collector

    • Advisors should get in the habit of handing people their phones in social situations and having them enter their email addresses
    • Advisors should train their office staff to collect email addresses from everyone they speak with
    • Advisors should place a “Have a Question?” form on every page of their website where interested people will enter an email address

Make it easy for clients to find them via search engines

    • Optimize the website with keywords that describe their services
    • Use keyword-rich headings and subheadings in blog posts
    • Use video and outlinks to add SEO power to posts and website
    • Update Google Places with their office information
