Marina handles a lot of our social media marketing and she shares that one mistake she has made in the past is posting on social media without looking at the analytics and performance of the posts. Social media analytics allow you to do more of what works and less of what doesn’t, therefore making your marketing more efficient. And as any good marketer will tell you, efficiency is key (especially if you are strapped for time)! You can gather a lot of these analytics right from the platforms themselves. On Facebook, you will see “Insights” at the top of your company page and both LinkedIn and Twitter have designated “Analytics” tabs.
