How did you first learn about FMG Suite and how did you decide to choose FMG Suite for your website and digital marketing?
I had previously been using another provider, Emerald, and it became time for a switch. FMG Suite was recommended to me by Securities America. I really liked what I saw and made the change. It’s been several years now that I’ve been using FMG Suite and I absolutely love it.
How have the FMG Suite tools helped with your marketing efforts?
Together, they help me maintain a consistent and constant online presence and build credibility in my community. Financial planning is a very personal service. Clients want to know who their advisor is and confirm their credibility before they trust them with their money. With FMG Suite’s social media, email newsletter, website, and presentation tools, I can stay top of my clients’ minds, and when they refer a friend or family member, that referral can check out my website and social media and learn more about who I am and what I do.
The social media, email newsletter, and presentation tools all tie together and direct people to my website, which I like a lot. It’s very interactive and the Resource Center serves as my workshop tool. I frequently use the calculators with clients and prospects, and they enjoy the videos and articles. My website really serves as a networking and outreach tool, and the hub of my marketing efforts where I can refer people to when I conduct presentations in the community or when someone finds me on social media.
What’s your favorite FMG Suite tool to use?
I really appreciate using the social media tool. The content is very high quality and people find the videos very informative. In particular, I love the capability to customize the topics that post to my social media profiles. It’s directly in line with my marketing campaign strategy. I like to focus on specific topics each month. With FMG Suite, it’s easy for me to choose which topic I want to appear on my social media all month, whether it’s retirement planning or investments or insurance. I routinely get positive feedback on the quality of the social media content.
I’ve recently started using the blog feature on my website to post articles produced by Securities America. It’s very easy to use and once I post the blog on my website, I have been sharing them on social media.
What do you like most about your FMG website?
It’s so easy to use. I can quickly add new blog posts, change content on my pages, or add new items. And best of all, the compliance connectivity with Securities America is helpful and makes things so much simpler and more efficient.
You’ve had a Basic website with us for years, and now you’re going through our new Concierge process. How’s that going?
It’s great! My Website Specialist is very knowledgeable and she’s helped me decide what are the most important elements to highlight on the homepage of my website. I think the Concierge Service is a fantastic deal. The homepage is so important for advisors to get across the most important aspects of their business to get people to check out other pages.
