Announcement: Another Great way to Gather Leads!

General Marketing 0 Comments

Last week we announced the release of our Page Gating feature: a new tool that allows you to “gate” pages on your website and gather contact information from visitors.

Today we’re excited to release another powerful lead-generating feature: our Lead Gen Sections. Designed exclusively to gather prospects for you and your firm, these new sections will turn your website visitors into actionable leads. Watch the video below or read on to learn more about these new forms, available to our Attract™ clients:

Bait Your Hook

Our Lead Gen Sections allow you to offer something of value in exchange for visitors’ contact information: you can choose from a professionally crafted ebook or quiz to offer your website visitors. We’ll let you know whenever you’ve got a new lead on the line to follow up with!

A Custom Approach

Like the other sections available to you on each page, you’re able to edit almost everything about these forms: from the headline to the background image, the button text to the form colors.

Not only can you customize the appearance of this section on your site, but the ebook your visitors download will also be customized with your firm’s logo, location and disclaimer.

Best Practices

We’ve provided you with the lead magnet and we’ll store your leads in the “Contacts” section of your admin – but there are a few more things you should know about how to turn website visitors into clients:

  • We recommend adding a Lead Gen Section to your homepage, where new visitors to your site can immediately get a sense of your firm as a resource for valuable information they can’t find anywhere else.
  • When a visitor completes one of these forms, you will get an email letting you know you’ve got a new lead on the line. Be sure to follow up in a few days to ask the visitor if they’d like to connect and discuss either their quiz or ebook. You can even share an article or video from your Resource Library that relates to the ebook or quiz they accessed!
  • Looking to drive some more traffic to your lead-generating form? Share the link to a page that contains your lead gen form on social media, with a teaser about the quiz or ebook, and start collecting those leads!

Distill Your Niche

"...while they can’t turn back the clock and address these issues beforehand - such as increasing their spouse’s life insurance or saving more - there are ways to take control and feel more confident in their future.
When working with widows, there are a few first steps I recommend taking:

1. Get Organized
Whether or not you handled all of your family’s finances, some, or none, the first step is to organize your financial documents. Before you can determine how to budget and what steps to take, you have to first understand where you stand financially. If you are having trouble translating your investment account statements, a financial advisor can help you understand what your documents mean. You’ll want to copy and safeguard your important documents and review life insurance policies with a trusted advisor.

2. Budget for a Single Income
More than half of widows have difficulty adjusting to a single income. This may because they haven’t reevaluated their bills and expenses and adjusted..."

Consistent Messaging

"...Once we understand your family’s current circumstances, goals, and unique needs, we develop strategies to help preserve and potentially grow your wealth and take over the time-consuming tasks associated with managing your complex financial affairs. Working with a family office can benefit families in a number of ways, including:

  • Preserving wealth through proactive management and appropriate strategies
  • Mitigating risk by diversifying investments
  • Assisting with the transfer of wealth from one generation to the next through strategic asset allocation and estate planning..."

Unique Articles in Your Voice

"...More than likely, you have a clear understanding of your relationship with your doctor or your dentist. You pay a fee and, in return, you receive a service, including advice and recommendations based on your individual situation. It would make sense then for your relationship with your financial advisor to be the same; but for many, that’s not the case.

At Financial Guideposts, we’ve noticed a trend: that the general public does not understand the relationship they have with their financial advisor. We want to change that. We believe there are two critical aspects you should understand when working with a financial advisor: how he or she gets paid and what services he or she provides..."
