MRP Expands Web Presence with FMG Suite Tools
While in the process of rebranding their practice, the Denver-based retirement plan consulting firm, MRP, worked with FMG Suite to rebuild their website and expand their digital marketing tools. Operations & Marketing Coordinator, Julene Rathburn, shares her experience with our Exclusive website process and suite of marketing tools.
When you came to FMG Suite, you currently had a website. What provoked the change?
Our previous website was outdated, a bit boring and didn’t represent our firm. We like to think outside of the box and we wanted a modern, more interactive website that reflected that. We found out about FMG Suite through our broker-dealer and decided to build a new website in conjunction with the rebranding efforts we were currently undertaking.
In building your Exclusive website with us, how was the process from start to finish?
The Exclusive website process was excellent. As someone who is detail-oriented, I loved how organized and thorough the process was. Our project manager was always on top of things. She helped keep us on task and ensured that we met all of our deadlines. The entire team at FMG Suite, from customer service to the website developers, coordinated the project really well. It felt like we had a whole team supporting us. Everything came together nicely. We launched our website on deadline and just in time for an event we were hosting.
What do you like most about your new site? Have you received any feedback?
Our team was very pleased with our new website. We’ve had people ask us who designed it and we have received a number of compliments from both clients and other industry professionals. The website is responsive and looks great on mobile devices. We really love the events feature since we host several events throughout the year. It’s great for clients to be able to RSVP on our site.
I’m also very impressed with the FMG Suite dashboard. With our old website, it was very frustrating as we couldn’t easily make website changes ourselves and had little control over timing and posting. With the FMG Suite dashboard, I can easily log into my account and make edits or updates and submit to compliance. It’s very user-friendly and I appreciate that it helps makes my job more efficient.
You are also using our mobile app, email newsletter, and social media tools. How are you enjoying those?
The mobile app is a great tool and is one of the reasons we ultimately chose FMG Suite. We strive to be at the forefront of technology. Previously, we weren’t doing as much as we would like on social media and one of our rebranding goals was to interact more with clients online. I love that the social media tool makes it easy for us to maintain an online presence. We’ve seen a significant increase in our social media following. We’ve also noticed a lot of people signing up for the email newsletter on our site. We like knowing that people are checking out our website and that they want to stay connected with us. We have very strong long term relationships with our clients and we are excited to offer them additional valuable resources. Overall, from our website to the marketing tools, we loved working with FMG Suite!
