It’s time for another one of our “Meet the Team” blogs! We love doing these so much, especially since we have such an awesome team! This time, we caught up with Sales Manager, Stephanie Heath. When she isn’t crushing it at work and driving sales, she loves hanging out with her family, spending time outdoors, and more. To learn more about Stephanie, be sure to check out our latest blog.

Where are you from, and where do you live now? We love hearing where everyone is located, especially since we work remotely.

I am an east coast baby! I was born in Jacksonville, Florida. My Dad was in the Navy and we moved to a few different places before we found our forever home in Ramona, California. Just this cute little small town in the mountains of San Diego.

The sales environment is incredibly fast-paced, but you do such a great job at it! What is your favorite part about your role as a sales manager?

Why thank you! You are right, it is a very fast-paced environment and certainly is an emotional rollercoaster, but when you have an amazing team of Sales Professionals to mentor and work alongside you it makes it all worth it! My favorite part is just being able to support someone on their sales journey and watch their success along the way.

What do you like to do in your free time?

Working from home is a blessing, but when it comes to the weekends I do need a break from being home. We love going camping, visiting local museums, exploring different parks around San Diego.

If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you want to have with you?

Do my husband and two children count? Just kidding, I wouldn’t put them through that. I have watched enough Survivor shows to know I would need to bring a fire starter, a knife, and probably Jeff Probst (the host of Survivor) because that man has been stuck on a deserted island for over 43 seasons and he seems to be doing just fine. ?

You recently welcomed your second child, congratulations! What motherly advice do you have?

Don’t wish your kids’ lives away. It’s easy to say, “I can’t wait for when they can sit up, or crawl, or walk, or when they go to school.” But if you are constantly wishing for the next thing they can do, you can’t enjoy what is happening right in front of you.

If you had one extra hour in the day, what would you spend it doing?

There are so many things I would do, the list is endless….

Are you a sweet eater or a salty eater? What’s your favorite go-to snack?

I am a salty eater! I love a good bag of potato chips. Which one is my favorite though? All of them. Just mix them all up in one bowl.

If you could take a trip to anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Disneyland. We go every year during the holidays and love it!

What is the best piece of advice that you have ever received? It can be work-related or just great life advice!

Buy what you need, not what you want.

What is your favorite part about working at FMG?

Honestly, the people. I have never worked in an environment where so many people support you and want nothing more than for you to be successful. FMG has an amazing work culture. I truly appreciate the people I work alongside and take pride in the company I work for.
